Video Editor

Job Summary:

The Video Editor is responsible for creating assets for promotions and animation and for

editing and assembling recorded raw materials to piece together a suitable, unique and

exciting material ready for broadcasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of assets for promotional purposes and animation


• Understand and grasp the team’s needs and specifications to be translated to the


• videos


• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos


• Manipulate film and video footage using modern editing techniques


• Continuously discover and implement new editing trends and technologies and


• industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency


• Document progress reports in a daily basis


• Maintain good file management and archiving

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in mainstream media production as a video editor


• Has experience in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Character


• Animator


• Knowledge and experience in other editing softwares Cinema2D, Blender) is


• preferable but not required


• Highly creative in making designs with a good sense of color theory


• Has worked side by side with compositors and animators


• Experience in motion graphics is a plus, but not required


• Efficient, decisive, and has good time management and coordination skills


• Excellent judgement and decision making skills


• Proactive, has initiative, opinionated, and embodies a champion mindset


• Professional, and is a good communicator in the pipeline/workflow during shift

Home Office Requirements:

• 100% Remote work


• Availability to work business hours in US Central Time


• Computer (at least Core i3 Processor, 4 GB RAM, Webcam), system must have atleast 4


• cores and 8 threads, with a dedicated video card


• Home office with a private room and desk


• Reliable internet (5 MBPS minimum, 10 MBPS preferred with ability to go up to 50


• MBPS).
