Senior Shopify Developer

Responsibilities include: 

• Development of new ecommerce websites on the Shopify platforms

• Building and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid

• Optimization of sites for speed utilizing the latest responsive and mobile design techniques

• Tuning and debugging web applications

• Collaborate with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences

• Generate custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates

• Work closely with project managers to address client requests

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moments notice

• Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation

• Creating beautiful and fast code that improves our code base in meaningful ways

• Using test-driven development to write well-tested code

• Fix bugs fast and take your time to solve hard problems well

• Understanding project requirements with minimal assistance

• Researching, customizing, and implementing third-party add-ons, plugins, and other integrations
