Active since 2017, Cabo Norte is a specialized Executive Search, Recruitment and Selection company based in Belgium serving clients in Belgium, Europe and internationally.

 

We recruit for following industries and disciplines:

 


  • Construction (Buildings, Civil Works, Maritime and Offshore projects)

We recruit candidates to work on a Belgian, EU or expatriate long-term contract. In addition, we recruit freelance candidates, depending on the requirements of the vacancies of our clients. The majority of the recruitment and selection we do is for the Belgian & Dutch (the Netherlands) market.



The national languages used in Belgium are mainly Dutch (Flemish) and French (and German (not so relevant)). Very often our clients require their candidates to speak Dutch, French and English. So, there is always a possibility to communicate in English which is not uncommon, even in Belgium.

Our clients can be mid-size engineering companies and large general contracting/construction companies operating in and outside the EU giving more career opportunities to candidates.

 

Your role

Your role will evolve and grow as we progress through the work that needs to be done.

 

You will be responsible for


  • Market mapping of candidates matching the requirements of the vacancies of our clients via LinkedIn. You will do the mapping via LinkedIn (and other channels). You will use Microsoft Excel and our CRM tool (Bullhorn) to organize this. (CRM – Client Relationship Management (including an ATS – Applicant Tracking Tool))

  • Vacancy posting

    You will manage the vacancy posting via the CRM tool (Bullhorn) on our website so candidates can apply. In addition, you post the vacancies on our LinkedIn Corporate page and other (social media) channels.

  • Data management

    You will organize the CRM database and guarantee a smooth operation to support future candidate sourcing campaigns.

  • Daily updates and weekly reporting

    You will do at least once a week a full reporting and status update on the executed work so – if required – procedures can be adapted in a timely manner

You will


  • be the first contact with candidates (email, phone, messenger and other)

  • schedule first interviews

  • start up the prescreening recruitment phase to cover the basic questions necessary to launch the prequalification procedure

  • focus on the Dutch (the Netherlands) market to start with as we are recruiting Dutch candidates with a construction and digital engineering background (VR,AR, AI) to work on some very large civil works projects in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Your profile


  • You have 3 - 6 years of working experience;

  • You have a basic experience in HR management, recruitment or HR - marketing. A mix of these 3 would be an asset;

  • You are interested in or willing to learn all about the construction and engineering industry (amongst others);

  • You are fluent in English in reading, speech and writing. This is absolute must!

  • You have previous working experience with LinkedIn (LinkedIn Recruiter);

  • You have a general idea on how social media recruitment works;

  • You can work with Microsoft Office – Excel and Word;

  • You are meticulous and have a sharp eye for typing errors;

  • You are organized, able to plan and work proactively;

  • You don’t panic easily and are a born troubleshooter;

  • You communicate without restraint;

  • You have a good sense of humor and can put things into perspective;

  • A good internet connection is required!!!

We offer

 


  • Freelance contract (you are able to issue an invoice and have a valid VAT number);

  • Working hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (full time);

  • We are based in Belgium time zone: GMT +1 (winter) (6 hour behind the Philippines);

  • Salary payment dates: on a weekly basis for the first 2 months to start with (via Transferwise);

  • 13th month (or pro rata depending on the months of service of the current year);

  • Optional bonus – bonus upon good performance;

    There will be a monthly evaluation moment to discuss the areas of improvement.

    This will give you exact insights of what is expected from you.  Rest assured, we are humans too! If you do well, we do well! You will we rewarded for this at the end of the year.
