Job Overview

We are seeking an executive assistant for our innovative law firm.

What you would do. The job will greatly vary from one week to another, but in essence, you would be there first and foremost as a resource for our two co-founders. This would include:


  • Basic administrative tasks such as returning calls, mailing, filing, word processing, etc

  • Preparing correspondence, researching and drafting reports, presentations

  • Managing our schedule, organizing our meetings and planning events and travels

  • Help us build and improve administrative systems and processes to manage our growth

  • Opportunity for marketing research, drafting marketing material and supporting us in managing our social media exposure.

How this would work. We would like to start at 30 to 40 hours/week with a couple of projects. This position could lead to more permanent position over time as our organization grows.

Who we are looking for. Our ideal candidate has the following profile:


  • Professional, trustworthy and loyal

  • Very strong professional writing and speaking skills

  • Experience in the legal industry (so that you know what is to deal with lawyers...)

  • Attention to details (so that we don't have to!)

  • Loves project management, creating systems, checklists and automated processes(lots to do limited resources to make it happen!)

  • Comfortable in a changing environment, and not afraid of trying new technology and tricks (we're are able to operate virtually and we use many apps and technology to run our business)

  • Great knowledge of Word and Excel

  • Works very well autonomously, with little oversight

Required education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Required experience:


  • Administrative Support: 5 to 10 years
