Job Overview

telemedicine practice is searching for a financial and legal operations manager

 

Dutries include

1. checking online bank account

2. collecting reciepts ( max ten daily ) and filing on expensify/ quickbooks online

3. online bill payment

via quickbooks and and online check collection via quickbooks ( maximum 5/ month )

 

5. forming relationships with vendors and clients to co-ordinate payment and collections

6. amicable and gentle follow up of late payments ( usually 3-4 per month)

7. Entering income and expenses into live plan business plan software (automated process linked to quickbooks, but check)

8. following up with team to collect missing reciepts

9. categorizing expenses on quickbooks

10. accountability of consistent revolving monthly payments  ( makign sure the direct debits are active )

11. monitoring company credit and makign sure the credit card balance is paid on time

12, presenting financials to investors using live plan or quickbooks

cloud based software solutions to improve efficency 

 

14, process 1099/ contract agreeement  for virtual workers ( max 5)

15. Complete loan applications 

16. Assist with job interviews

17. Sign off on employee work completion

18. sign off on virtual employee hours  ( max 5 a month )

19. Fill in medical liscencing and credentialling forms, work with team to complete applications, and make sure required items are checked / completed.

20. Liase with state medical boards to follow up on application status

21. Liase with secretary of state and state medical boards , send email enquirys re telemedicine laws, and file answers appropriately

22. liase with US accountant and co-ordinate corporation filling

23. liase with US accountant to submit financials

24. Familairize self with dr chrono EHR ( training will be provided ), check that amount billed matches superbill ( maximum of ten transactions per day ), co-ordianate with medical assistant to fix discrepancies.

 

candidate must demonstrate accounability for task completion

candidate must be willing to make phonecalls to faciltate task completion and not rely on emails alone

candidate must follow up on incomplete tasks without being supervised

candidate must be willing to learn how to use live plan, drchrono medical milling software, and any other cloud based software utilized by the company

candidate must be willing to work at US eastern timezone

candidate must be responsible for maintaining his or her equipment including high speed internet, computer, international phone card while working remotely

candidate must be accessible via nextevia account and skype during working hours. ( accounts will be provided )

candidate is accountable for answering phonecalls promptly and following up on missed calls during working hours

candidate must be willing to work and store work on cloud based project management software 

candidate mut be responsible for maintaining a work ethic and professionalism. 

This position is ideal for anyone who would enjoy working as a team, learning new software, and combine bookeeping with operational duties. As all transactions are automated data entery is minimal, as are mundane tasks. This is a positon suitable for a flexible hard working  individal who likes to stretch themselves intellectually and is open to new challenges .
