Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Technical Editor/Writer to create support materials (user guide/manual), and other communication materials for our customers

Duties And Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit client manuals, presentations, and marketing materials

• Ensure company documents achieve the highest degree of writing quality by checking for readability, comprehension, consistency, and clarity

• Check documents for correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, format, and writing style

• Help achieve corporate consistency in style, formatting, and presentation of documents 

Qualifications:

We seek an energetic, motivated candidate with strong people, communication, and organizational skills. In addition, writing, and editing skills are required.

• Three or more years of experience as a technical editor (for engineering, or other consulting company)

• Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, journalism, communications (or equivalent)

• Key skills: grammar, creativity, communication, publishing, and communication tools

• Ability to write in explanatory or procedural styles

• Advanced skills in the English language, spelling, punctuation, and basic rules of composition

• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills required
