A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A Customer Service Representative


As our Customer Service Representative, you are the "voice" of each business that you represent. You are always friendly, respectful, and professional in all your interactions. Your cheerful smile comes through as you take inbound phone calls from current and prospective customers of our families in real estate investing. You assist them with scheduling appointments for follow-up calls|texts, viewing|showing of their property, etc.


During these calls, you ask basic questions to engage the customer about their needs. You explain to them: who we are, what we do and how we can help. You educate families, possibly provide a quote, schedule an appointment for a property viewing, email|fax a contract to close a deal. Be sure that we are handling customer concerns about negotiations or urgency with patience. Your natural empathy helps you understand your customers' concerns and hesitations in order to help them overcome their selling|buying objections. You use your excellent communication skills to explain the value of the Weird Investment brand and the benefits of our services. You help increase deals through your ability to build relationships with our families, using your sales|friend skills to relate, empathize and build rapport to create trusting relationships with everyone.


With attention to detail, you verify customer account information and update any necessary information with a high degree of accuracy. You also get to interact with other departments to resolve customer needs, check the status of the property pipeline, and schedule appointments and send paperwork to close deals. And, from time to time, you get to attend job-related training.


You are self-motivated and stay up-to-date with company reference materials, announcements, promotions. You absolutely love having the opportunity to work from home in your personal remote office, while being part of a supportive team with a strong customer service focus.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR Customer Service Representative

[Basic Minimum Equipment] computer desktop/laptop , smart phone & internet*


Basic computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office

Basic keyboarding skills (30+ WPM)

Sales ability based on customer service skills

Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed door

Late model PC or laptop computer and a large screen display. A second monitor is also required.

A dual-ear headset that has USB and a noise-canceling microphone (Logitech USB H570e and Logitech USB H390 are available at Walmart, Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, etc.)

A reliable high-speed internet connection (10Mbps upload and 10Mbps download) the faster the better!

A battery back-up is recommended in case of loss of power. (CyberPower 1500VA is available at Best Buy and online.)

Drug-free (including virtual positions)

An associate's degree and any experience with real estate, telemarketing, customer service, data entry would be a plus! Do you have excellent communication skills including conversational, writing, and reading comprehension? Are you a problem solver? Can you prioritize multiple tasks effectively? Are you trustworthy? We offer full-time Customer Service Representative positions. Full-time hours typically range between 30-40 hours a week. We are looking for associates to handle multiple shifts seven days a week.
