Appointment/Telesales Operator 

We are based in Birmingham and are looking for motivated, resilient, articulate, focused, persuasive, driven, adaptable team players with a sense of fun to sell membership packages over the phone to directors of small, medium and large companies. The company is the market leader in the commercial sector and has been running events for years. We run 60

events a year for members to attend FREE of charge and inclusive of their monthly fees in Birmingham, UK All of the events relate to business growth and cover topics such as Sales & Marketing, Business Support, Legal, HR, Banking & Financial and IT. The candidate will be responsible for managing their own time and work UK office hours. Data will be supplied through our CRM system. Meetings will be booked for prospect to attend either an event we run or have a meeting with the Director in our main office in Birmingham. The job involves cold calling for meetings or booking businesses on to an event. The Ideal Candidate – Should have knowledge of sales processes and structure. Ability to plan and organise their time, ability to build instant rapport. Full training is given on the company background, market sector , events, sales training, lead sourcing and research. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year B2B phone sales experience, this can be from another events sales job, or advertising sales, recruitment, banking, finance, telecoms, call centre etc. We will also take graduates if they are correctly motivated, these should have english, languages, history, drama or other arts degrees. The job requires people to think on their feet, be innovative and creative.
