BPOs will hire up to 100,000 additional people in the Philippines this year, with tens of thousands of BPO job opportunities being remote-based.

You don't need to complete a four-year college course, as most companies accept applicants with only high school diplomas. 

As for the skills and competencies, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills for this job title. Also, you need to be proficient with database software or learn it from your onboard training. Most importantly, it would help overcome obstacles and get desirable company results.

4. Customer Service Representative

Ready to work from home with a customer service job?

A customer service representative helps customers with their inquiries about their services or products.

To be qualified for this position, you should maintain a positive, empathetic attitude towards customers and users at all times.

Patience is required as you'll receive different customers with different needs. So it would help if you stayed calm when customers were stressed or upset.

Some companies accept applicants with only a high school diploma. As long as you can communicate well in English and with good organizational multitasking skills, you can apply for most online customer service jobs.

5. Technical Support Representative

A technical support representative helps the customers with their technical inquiries on the products they purchase or services they render.

You must act as a problem solver and give technical solutions to the issues raised by customers.

To qualify for this position, you must graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information, or related work experience. You must be analytical to diagnose the issue of the customers.
