Job Overview

Job Summary: 

The Bookkeeper position is a core team member who is responsible for reconciling and organizing the company’s accounting.   


In this position, you’ll be downloading account information from banks, merchant accounts, and credit accounts into QuickBooks. Then review all entries and make sure they’re accurately categorized, reconcile bank statements and provide detailed reports to the company owner and decision-makers. 


You must have an excellent understanding of US bookkeeping standards, basic knowledge of US tax policies as it pertains to accounting standards, as well as, be very skilled on Quickbooks online.  


This position is ideal for someone who loves working with numbers and has exquisite attention to detail and is looking to establish long-term work with a fast-growing, successful company.  


Experience you must have: 

A minimum of 5 years experience in bookkeeping 

Bookkeeping diploma or certificate 

Excellent QuickBooks skills 

Excellent knowledge of US bookkeeping standards 

Ability to pull different types of reports to view numbers from different perspectives

Organizing and managing all bookkeeping duties while meeting all deadlines

Fast learner 

Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner 

Excellent communication skills (interpersonal & in writing)

Bookkeeping Tasks of this Role: 

Set-up QuickBooks online 

Connect to different accounts to download data

Reconcile accounting

Manage invoicing and accounts payable 

Follow-up on past due accounts 

Set-up new clients on automatic payments

Set-up bill pay online 

Pay bills 

Manage cash flow 

Track referral commissions and payouts

Run reports as needed



Full-time position at 40 hrs per week during local time  

High-speed internet connection with backup service to minimize interruptions 

Personal computer 

Available for meetings with Madeleine at US CST time zone several times per week as needed

Excellent English verbal and written skills  

Excellent math skills

Bookkeeping Certificate or diploma
