Technical Resume Writer

We are a career consulting firm that helps professionals from accounting, finance, engineering and IT land on their dream job. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we provide nationwide clients with top-tier career consulting services, including but not limited to Job-based Resume Editing, LinkedIn Profile Editing, Job Application and Submission, Career Coaching, Interview Coaching, and Technical Training.  

Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the English language including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

  • Technical acumen and understanding of Technical Terms and Jargon.

  • Ability to create unique Technical resumes within a rapid timeline, in different technologies.

  • Ability to write, edit, proofread, and publish written marketing content.

  • Create and edit Consultant resumes.

  • Create and edit Business Bio’s.

  • Decisive writer who can prioritize, manage, and complete multiple tasks.

  • Highly detail-oriented and well-organized individual who can apply listing modifications in diverse formats including website publications, written documents, online portal postings, as well as email correspondence.

  • Promote and maintain all principles of confidentiality.

  • Proficient in both Microsoft Word, Excel and resume templates.

  • Minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute.

  • Flexible and adaptive attitude that enables an individual to remain productive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Maintain a highly organized and driven work ethic.

Role Description:


  • Create and edit Technical and Business Bio’s.

  • Create and edit Consultant resumes.

  • Write, edit, and post marketing documents for our business listings.

  • Research businesses online to gather additional information essential to marketing our consultants.

  • Modify existing listings with a keen eye for detail.

  • Carry formatting and written content consistently across platforms.

Salary: The salary is negotiable. The payment can be resume count-based to start with, and transfer to a monthly and/or hourly-based, as long as you can prove to be a professional and reliable team player. We are looking for a long-term candidate.
