Job Overview

I’m seeking a Marketing and Copywriting Assistant to support the growth of my company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being able to write marketing copy and SEO articles, work independently, clear communication skills, and provide high quality results.

This is currently a part-time position, with about 30%-40% involving content creation (Social Media, SEO articles) and the rest of the time dependent on the candidates skills (and company’s needs) in marketing activities.

This is a position that requires an appropriate internet connection. The role will involve working closely and regularly with me, so there will be some occasions where you’ll need to be available in hours for training and feedback.

-Manage general marketing related and administrative tasks updating contact and activity databases, coordinating/implementing content posting, creating email lists, and data entry)
-Gather, analyze, and generate reports on marketing metrics
-Manage and execute social media and website content and email newsletter
-Be willing to learn how to do Adwords, Facebook ads, and create landing pages
-Contribute to company content and collateral development such as planning, writing, and editing
-Conduct market research and identify new leads
-Support the business collaboratively in other marketing and business development activities
-Attend and contribute to meetings as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications and experience in sales and marketing desired
-Strong written communication and editorial skills
-Enthusiasm for social media and communications metrics analysis
-Familiarity with web-based applications and database management platforms Word Press, Hootsuite, Adwords or similar applications)
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Ability to collaborate with team members and oversee service providers web admin provider, graphics team)
-Careful attention to detail and accuracy
-Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
-Versatile self-starter that can quickly learn and work independently, ability to work well in a virtual environment
-Superior time management skills and highly organized
-Interest in marketing and business topics preferred

Payment will be weekly for the first month and then move to the 1st and 15th in the following months.
