What We Are Looking For

  • An expert with comprehensive knowledge of water networks and their daily operation to understand the context of our daily work

  • Demonstrated experience in using various computer applications we regularly use including Google Workspaces (formerly GSuite), Airtable, Xero, and ArcGIS (or a willingness to learn)

  • Proficient in the use of GIS tools, including the ArcGIS/Esri suite of tools, to enable interaction between field teams and customers for reporting purposes

  • A demonstrated understanding of leak detection and water loss management strategies is advantageous and will be beneficial for the successful candidate

  • Experience in working for small, fast-moving companies and getting things right first time -- a bonus if experienced in working with remote teams!

  • Motivated, engaged and willing to solve problems collaboratively with team members and customers

  • Experience with intelligent water IoT devices desirable or a willingness to learn and understand how these technologies are deployed in water networks and how we can leverage the data these provide

  • A remote troubleshooting resource for teams in the field, including development of work plans, remote support with GIS feedback, etc.

  • Experience in liaising with customer project managers

  • Someone to support business leaders with all aspects of our project delivery and client liaison to assist business growth

  • A strong understanding of documentation, including experience with HSQE (health and safety, quality and environmental) management plans and systems and their importance to the business

What You Will Do

  • Track existing contract progress and update our project management tool (Airtable) on a regular basis and provide updates to management

  • Assist with new project set up, including Electronic Folder set up, HSQE documentation, budgeting and liaison with stakeholders  

  • Send daily CSV files to customers from GIS tools, ensuring these are timely and accurate (instructional video provided on how to do this).

  • Monthly reporting for customers on contract performance, results and specific issues encountered in Water Supply Zones (WSZs) or on Projects

  • Create PDF maps for printing by the local team of upcoming WSZs (instructional video provided on how to do this)

  • Research and provide full information on call-out leaks provided to us by customers (water utility), this includes use of customer GIS, Google Maps, Google Streetview etc.

  • Ensure appropriate HSQE system implementation and compliance during field works, by liaising with field teams

  • Assisting the Client Development team with new opportunity identification, project feasibility, solution development and project budgeting during the sale process

  • Project management and customer liaison, with a focus on adhering to high levels of customer service to both our customers and the general public.
