Mode Group (consisting of Mode Renovations, Mode Developments & Timber Vanity Designs), is an Award Winning Builder and Property Developer who is looking for an experienced Interior Architect/ Designer to join our growing team and work closely with and support our Sales and Interior Design team.

 

The successful applicant will need:


  • A genuine passion for ‘Interior Architecture’ with a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Prior experience in Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry room and joinery design.

  • An upbeat personality and a desire to complete tasks on time.

  • Exceptional phone skills that help you connect genuinely with people quickly.

  • Prior experience developing joinery and interior plans.

  • Great task management skills and the ability to see tasks to completion.

  • Proficiency with REVIT and/or AutoCAD.

  • Confidence in compiling material/ fixture specification schedules and images.

  • Video conferencing and using modern technology tools.

  • The ability to work unsupervised and to be productive from any location.

  • A proven ability to write professionally and respond to emails quickly

  • A loyal character that prefers to stick at something, rather than career hop

  • Loads of initiative and the ability to speak up when you see a better way.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Champion our Interior Design team through design and Documentation support.

  • Compile all relevant material/ fixture information in selection documentation.

  • Discuss and develop improvements to our internal design and review process.

  • Engage in regular project planning and design meetings with the team.

  • Work diligently on each project to completion.

  • Manage the documentation process for projects till client sign off.

  • Liaise with all stakeholders including- Management, Construction, Design, Operations and Client.

  • Liaise with Project Manager’s to ensure documents are finalised and items signed off.

  • Design and document selected rooms- Bathrooms, Kitchens/ Pantries, Robes, Laundries, etc.

  • Detail all joinery items and send for internal peer review, ready to order.

  • Work with the designer to update and finalise any changes required for client sign off.

  • Report to Management on design progress of projects.

  • Documenting process improvements and discussing them with Management.

  • Writing emails and making feedback videos when you can't speak to stakeholder.

  • Stepping up to take on new tasks and keeping up with design trends.

  • Reporting directly to CEO & Op’s Manager to update them on the status of key projects.
