This is a full-time position for a bookkeeper & business manager with a vacation rental company based in San Francisco, California. Here is some of our vacation homes near San Francisco, CA

You will be responsible for


  1. Bookkeeping

  2. Business Operations & Project Management

  3. Miscellaneous Virtual Assistant tasks like Email management, Calendars, etc.

This is a full-time roll & we want to see you succeed. So, appropriate training & mentorship will be provided.

Skills Required


  1. Strong communication skills is required (mainly written English)

  2. Background in Accounting & Bookkeeping is preferred (preferably experience with Quickbooks)

  3. Project management experience is desired, preferably with Basecamp or similar tools

  4. Strong spreadsheets skills, mainly Google Sheets, is desired.

  5. Leadership & people management skills is also desired since you will soon be managing other teammates.

Training & mentorship will be provided to help you grow & learn.

Position Overview

Your role will be maintaining the company books (using Quickbooks), managing daily operations of our vacation rental business and managing multiple online projects. Here is more details



  1. Bookkeeping - You will be required to use Quickbooks to manage our company accounts. So, you are expected to have proficiency with bookkeeping & accounting. Responsibilities include


    1. Bookkeeping to properly classify all income & expenses

    2. Prepare reports using Quickbooks for the leadership team - Profit & Loss reports, Balance sheet, customer balances, etc

    3. Customer invoicing, managing vendor lists, etc

    4. Managing expenses for utilities & software subscriptions. Making timely payments & keeping everything in order.




  2. Business Management


    1. Managing vacation rental business operations like managing nightly rates of our vacation homes, guest communications, writing guest reviews, coordinating cleaning staff, channel management managing our listings on Airbnb, etc).

    2. These business operations can be managed using a tool
    3. We'll also trust you with important projects within the company. This will give you the opportunity to grow into a senior staff in the company




  3. Executive Assistant - In this role you will have access to confidential company information. You may manage executive's emails, calendars, tasks list & partners. This additional responsibility will only be assigned if there's a proper fit.
