Job Overview

This Social Media Manager and Ads Specialist will be responsible for the overall planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the business’s social media channels to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase potential leads and sales. He/She will also be facilitating potential client engagement, and marketing campaigns which needs to be measurable and attainable.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, execute and optimize paid campaigns on Facebook, Google and LinkedIn Business platforms

  • Apply audience insights and analytics data to inform paid social campaigns

  • Be up to date with the latest social media trends, apply best practices and innovative tools

  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies

  • Manage the day-to-day handling of the businesses’ social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels

  • Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook business planner or any equivalent scheduling platform.

  • Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms

  • Develop, launch, and manage new strategies like competitions, campaigns and timely/seasonal events that promote the businesses and its brand

  • Undertake audience research

  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts, messages and developing discussions

  • Manage and Monitor Manychat.

  • Manage, facilitate the social media groups, approving posts, adding posts and discussions.

  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights

  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity

  • Research and analyse competitor’s activity

  • Recommend strategies to improve social media presence

  • Read and provide analytics best practice linkage between social media channels and website/landing pages in order to have a more measureable, effective and on point results

  • Perform other administrative work that’s relevant to this role

Requirements:


  • Good x amount of years of experience as a Social Media Management or similar role

  • Social Media Strategist for brand awareness and impressions

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms

  • Successfully devised and developed paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn (Tiktok is a plus)

  • Experience in e-commerce and paid social strategies optimized for ROI

  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to provide brand-led strategic messaging

  • Data-driven and proven ability to analyze data for insights through Facebook Analytics and other Third Party Apps (Google Analytics)

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Experience in doing audience and buyer persona research

  • Good understanding of social media KPIs

  • Familiarity with website trends to know what works or not

  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Great leadership skills

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Team player

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

  • A degree in Marketing or relevant field is a plus

  • Available to work in Australian Time Zone
