Spectrum Group Online is a digital marketing agency specializing in WordPress websites, White Hat SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and more. Basically, anything that’s on the web. On a day-to-day basis, we wear many hats, so we need a multi-tasker who can work seamlessly and virtually. It’s not uncommon for us to have Google Drive, Hangouts, Slack, Zoom all open simultaneously. 

Job Description:

We’re seeking a high-energy, confident self-starter that is client-focused and driven to produce quality results (while having fun too). The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the agency team and clients on a variety of marketing projects and campaigns. The ideal candidate knows how to research and synthesize their ideas, create marketing materials like email campaigns and web content, and coordinate across channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Research - conduct all types of research like discovering market trends, reviewing the competitive landscape, and synthesizing ideas in a compelling way. You’re curious and willing to dig when necessary, and know when it’s time to stop research and move into action.

  • Analyze - review data to uncover insights about user behaviors and the market landscape, translating information into actionable marketing plans. 

  • Support - be adept at various marketing tools like CRMs (lead tracking, lead quality), MailChimp (templates, automated nurturing campaigns), Google Analytics, visitor heatmaps, chatbots, social media management. It’s okay if you’re not familiar with a specific tool as we can teach you that. What’s important is the ability to learn quickly, adapt and make recommendations.

  • Content - facilitate the creation of all types of content (articles, social, reports). Able to analyze content and make recommendations to improve an existing page, create new infographics or videos, or craft social media posts. You’ll put a brand’s voice into marketing materials and into action. 

  • Plan - be able to assemble all of the moving parts and create project plans that meet client objectives, budgets and timelines.

What We Need:


  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator

  • English fluency, strong verbal and writing skills required

  • Ability to work remotely available in Pacific Time zone business hours

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proactive self-starter that respectfully presents their point of view

  • Aptitude for marketing tools and technology

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):


  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Search Console, and other digital marketing tools

  • HubSpot CRM experience

  • MailChimp management & automation

  • Graphic design, presentations (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Prezi) and video editing skills
