Job Overview

I am looking for a full time Virtual Assistant. This is a permanent job so I am looking for someone who can commit to working full time for me for a long period of time. I am an entrepreneur running two small businesses in the furniture industry and I need help with various tasks. Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):


  • Be my “right hand” in the day to day operation of my business.

  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, agents and resolve day to day issues.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, invoices, orders, etc.

  • Prepare all the reports required by the accountant for the quarterly and annual book-keeping.

  • Perform marketing activities like sending newsletters, managing the website and the social media channels, etc

  • Coordinate with transportation companies for logistics related issues.

  • Perform business development activities like identifying new customers, new markets, etc.

  • Other administrative tasks like report making, data input, etc

  • There going to be many repetitive tasks like data scraping, data input in excel, sending repetitive emails manually, etc

Requirements:


  • Fluency in English is a must (other languages are a plus but not absolutely necessary)

  • You need to have access to a PC with high speed internet, Skype and Whatsapp.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

  • Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Docs is a plus

  • Graphic design software like Photoshop, etc are a plus but not absolutely necessary.

  • You need to be independent and self motivated. Detailed training will be provided during the first couple of months but after that you are expected to show high level of independence and have the ability to make decisions and resolve issues on your own

  • Multi-tasking skills are an absolute must.

  • Attention to detail is paramount.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm CET time but I am flexible in case you want to start earlier as long as we overlap for a certain number of hours every day so we can communicate over Skype (especially in the beginning of my day). Also, you could work over the weekends if this is more convenient for you as long as all the daily and urgent tasks are finished on time during the working days and hours. Your working time will be monitored via time tracking software that you will need to install on your PC.

Please note that this a contract / freelance job so I will not be providing any medical benefits, social security contributions, holiday pay, etc.

Selected candidates will be invited to a Skype interview which will also include a short test.
