Summary

I worked with Reed Elsevier, a company that provides services for RELX Group for two years. During my first year, I worked as Legal Editor, doing Case Law research, summaries and proofreading for LexisNexis-Canada. After a year, I became a Legal Administrator with the same company, reviewing and managing global contracts for LexisNexis-Global, and doing some litigation assistance primarily for our team in the US.

Before Reed Elsevier, I also worked as Legal Assistant and Administrative Cases Investigator under the Legal Department in the City Government of Makati here in the Philippines for five years. I did paralegal assistance to the City Legal Officer, drafted pleadings, resolutions, city memoranda, city ordinances, correspondence, and did some legal papers for walk in clients. Also, I did research and investigation of local administrative cases.

This will be my first time to do online job, but I believe that my years of commitment in an office, with the experience and skills that I gathered through the years, is an edge for me to be capable of any paralegal job, even online.

Today, I am a full-time mother to my children and this job will help me provide for them, while, I remain on hand with them daily.

I am hoping to work with you soon.
