Manage the Accounting and Finance Department of mother company and oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary companies which includes: (i) Accounts Payable; (ii) Accounts Receivable; (iii) Cost Accounting; (iv) Financial Accounting (v) Financial Services; (vi) Financial Planning and Analysis; and (vii) Systems and Methods.
Manage the accounting system, analyze and monitor ledger accounts.
Oversee the monthly preparation of financial reports and prepare consolidation for presentation to the management.
Prepare annual financial statements and schedules for submission to external auditors and interim reports as requested by the stakeholders.
Prepare reports for BIR submissions and monitor tax compliance.
Plan, direct and oversee the preparation of annual and mid-year budget. Consolidate, monitor and implement the approved Annual and Mid-year Budget.
Review and improve the company’s existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and recommend new process on areas with no SOP.
Perform price verification of all vendors’ invoices and statements of accounts prior to preparation of accounts payable voucher. Supervise, direct and control the operations of Financial Planning and Services which includes: (i) insurance management; (ii) trademarks and patents monitoring; (iii) tax planning and government compliance; (iv) annual budget preparation; (v) monthly expense analysis; (vi) data library; and (vii) minor legal matters. Perform analysis, review and recommendation on the company’s insurance coverage and premium payments with focus on cost efficiency and risk management. Coordinate and administer the application of new trademarks and patents, declaration of use and termination/abandonment of old brands or logos. Facilitate the required registrations, permits and licenses to all government agencies, as well as, the closure of inactive stores or businesses. Prepare monthly expense reports and variance analysis. Check, review and verify accounts payable vouchers and supporting documents. Prepare, review and revise various contracts entered into by the company, such as Lease Contract, Consulting Agreement, Collection Agreement and Hauling Service
