I worked in the BPO industry for 11 years. I started as Customer Service / Sales Representative back in 2007 up to 2014. My tasks were to answer customers queries, provide accurate information and sound resolution, and since I was also a Sales Representative at the same time, part of my tasks was to offer services which tailor fits the customer’s needs. I would want to make sure that all of their questions and underlying questions are answered properly by actively listening and probing for the cause.
After working in Sales and Customer Service in Sprint, I decided to be part of one of the top banks in the Capital One. There, I started as a Senior Customer Service Representative and was eventually promoted as a Unit Manager. What we would do as a bank is to process requests as far as balance inquiry, credit disputes, credit limit increase and decrease, fraud protection / identity, processing payments and credit card applications. We also walk them through online and make sure that they are aware of our free credit tracker that they could use to keep an eye on their credit standing.
After over a decade working in BPO, I decided to work from home to have more time with my family. I landed my first home-based job as Real estate Virtual Assistant which I have been doing for a year now. I do cold calling and schedule appointments for my client who happens to be a Real Estate Investor.
