I am an experienced Administrative assistant, and I have been active in this role for more than 4 years. The typical day starts by going through my emails, flagging those that I need to follow up with, answering and responding to them, and executing on requests or tasks that have been handed down from the management. Answering phone calls and following up on pending requests is also part of the routine. On top of this, there are ad hoc requests that come in which I need to work on. In addition, I also handle logistics. From packing shipments, booking them with our courier partner, creating a packing list and invoice and obtaining a valid air waybill, until the shipment has been dispatched and confirmed delivered to the consignee. My tasks and responsibilities vary day to day. This has kept me productive and has improved my skills in juggling several requests at the same time. I have worked hard and learned a lot in this position and I love it.
