I was a Customer Service Representative at Sutherland Global Services for 1 year and 2 months. Been a lead generation expert for circle IT Services and that was my first in cold calling experience. Also work in Upwork as an appointment setter. What I have learned these experiences is that before I start my shift I need to have a mindset that every time I have a chance to talk with the decision maker it should end as a close appointment and of course in order to meet that goal, I must have a good communication skill and for me that is the most important thing that I need to posses all the time. Its my job to set the mood of the conversation and I always keep in mind that selling is transferring of energy. I also learned how to connect to the person I am talking to even though I`m just talking to the front liners. I connect by building rapport, acknowledgement, strong appreciation and making the call more conversational. Never hesitate to do good rebuttals if necessary. And since its a business there are days that I cannot really control no matter how hard I try to meet the target, but I cant. I don't take it as a problem, I take it as a fact. I just keep my self motivated and I make sure that I can reach the quota in the shift.
